Josh Penland Quoted in Sunday’s WSJ
AUSTIN, Texas (December 28, 2012) – Mortgage banker Josh Penland of Sente Mortgage was recently quoted in a Wall Street Journal article. The article, titled “Consumers Climb out of Debt,” was published on December 23, 2012. The WSJ reported that the proportion of income going to debt repayment is at the lowest level since 1983.
Josh noted that many of his clients who are refinancing their homes are using savings to either pay off debts or moving to 15 year mortgages to pay off their homes more quickly. “I think there’s an emotional piece to seeing the balance being paid down,” Mr. Penland said.
